To open a bank account for your LLC you're gonna need 7 things.
1. Primary ID, Social Security Number, Chex systems
2. Utility Bill of Company
3. Certificate of Organization
- This seems like the most superfluous hoop I had to jump through. Partly because I'm providing the receipt for the filing of AOR (link) but more so because it annoying that this certificate is only sent to you by the state on request. To get a copy you have to mail or fax a request (no email available) along with 10 dollars to the Dept of Finance.
- You have to write a letter (link to rtf) and fill out a credit card authorization for (link to form) they turn one around in 7-10 business days.
5. Federal tax ID (aka. FEIN- Federal Employer Identification Number)
6. W9
7. Certificate of Authority
